Details
This registration is only applicable to the Team Leader/Team Coordinator of the Company, Charity or Sponsor. You, as the coordinator will act as the contact person between Ride Joburg and your team.
Individual Rider: Standard individual entry on a traditional upright bicycle.
Tandem: Standard tandem entry. Both riders need to enter their information.
E-bike: Only pedal-assist E-Bikes are permitted in this race as set out in T&C's
Handcycle: A hand cycle is a type of human powered vehicle powered by the arms rather than the legs.
Recumbent Cycle: A recumbent is a variety of bicycle which places the rider in a seated or lying position. The back of the rider is supported, and the rider's legs extend forward to pedals that are at about the same height as the seat.
Para Cyclist Start Group: A start group allocated to Para Cyclists. Disability must be stated in the Medical Details section of the entry process.
Para Cyclist Personal Start Group: Para Cyclists who choose this category will be seeding to their own personal seeding. Disability must be stated in the Medical Details section of the entry process.

Individual participants must be 15 years or older by the date of the event. 22 November 2026) Tandem participants riding with an adult must be 9 years or older by the date of the event.
As a parent buying your child’s entry, make use of the FAMILY ACCOUNT on checkout to ensure your child’s details are accurately captured.
E-Bikes may only be ridden if the participant selects the E-bike category when entering online. Should an E-bike participant change their entry to / from an E-bike category without properly applying for such a change through the Race Office, he / she will be disqualified (T&C's apply).
Finish Time is the official timing company of the Ride Joburg Road. It is compulsory for every cyclist participating to wear the Faces timing board that is available for purchase online.
Refunds shall not be permitted under any circumstances, and thus, the policy strictly precludes the issuance of reimbursements for any purchases or transactions.
