 ding\, but face financial barriers\, to be part of this year’s iconic Ri

 We believe in the power of cycling\; not just as a sport\, but as a lifeli
 ne. It’s how many get around\, connect\, build community\, stay healthy\
 , and live longer\, fuller lives.</span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0\,
  0\, 0)\;">At Ride Joburg\, we’re committed to improving the demographic
  representation of our field and enabling broader access to the sport we l
 ove. Through the </span><em style="color: rgb(0\, 0\, 0)\;">Free Ride</em
 ><span style="color: rgb(0\, 0\, 0)\;"> initiative\, we aim to support ri
 ders who may not otherwise be able to afford an entry - particularly those
  from underrepresented groups - to help grow a more inclusive cycling cult
 ure in South Africa.</span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0\, 0\, 0)\;">If
  you genuinely cannot afford to enter this year’s Ride Joburg 97km road 
 race\, and meet the application criteria (see Ts & Cs below)\, we welcome 
 your application. Please note Free Ride applications close on the 15th of
